Manchester Microscopical Society - Slide Collection

This website forms the beginning of an ongoing project to catalogue, image, measure, and make available to a wider audience the historic slide collections of the Manchester Microscopical & Natural History Society.

Jenny Brettell, a 6th form biology student carried out the first stages of this project at the University of Manchester, School of Biological Sciences, whilst funded as a Nuffield Science student on a 4 week placement in summer 2002. Jenny collected over 1500 images and 3GB of data during this project.
